dogcito's Celeste Bianchi Reparto Corse SL

I bought my Bianchi for $800 at a local bike shop. It looked brand new, but suffered from shifting complaints, which may have been why the someone traded it in. Luckily everything was fixed with a new cassette and chain. I’m really happy to finally have a fast, light bike for the first time in my life. Until then I’d been making do on entry-level bikes like the Giant OCR3 and Schwinn Fastback Sport. Here’s the bike right before a training ride. The ride is not as harsh as some aluminum frames, but the geometry makes it comfortable for long rides.

That’s a gorgeous machine…I’ve always loved the celeste and yellow color scheme for some reason (my Bianchi used to have yellow cable casings, a yellow Turbo saddle and yellow Benotto bar tape) back in the day.

Is the fork carbon? If so, that may be one of the reasons it doesn’t ride as harsh as a lot of other aluminum frames.

Yes it’s a real beauty. Similar look to my older Chromali Bianchi Reparte Core w/Campy Record components. Tires are Michelin carbons w/yellow stripes also on Mavis (Reflex) wheels. It is way more bike then I ever hoped or expected to own but for the $500 asking I could not say no and condition is near mint Now I need to get myself in better shape to better benefit from it. Your fork does look like a carbon.
