This is the second bike that I have had as an adult. The last one was a men’s Diamondback. It was way too big for me so I decided to get a new bike. I opted for a hybrid. My husband likes to ride off road and I just want to stay in shape. I named him Hermes. He is very comfortable. I have added a Wald 933 basket, a Planet Bike Eco Rack, a Sigma Bike Computer, a water bottle holder and changed the pedals to mtb platforms because my feet kept slipping off of the stock ones. The most obvious thing is that the rack is connected to the seat because the arms don’t reach the seat stays. I haven’t had a chance to get it to my LBS for suggestions. Thats about it. Thanks for checking him out.

This bike is a Sun Uno purchased from Fly Bike Shop in Denver. It is pretty much stock with the exception of decal removal and reflective tape application. Oh, i put on a kickstand too.
More about it here.

This Armstrong 10 speed was converted to a single speed with a Sturmey Archer coaster brake. The bike began as a found frame and fork. Every part is from a separate source.
You can read more about this bike here.

This pub cruiser was offered by Raleigh in 2006. Additions to it include the front rack for bringing brews back home, and full fenders. The frame gusset is a bottle opener.

This is a Raleigh Wyoming touring bike from the mid 1980s. It’s a steel-frame 12-speed with friction shifters. I bought it on Craigslist for $125, and put about $100 worth of restoration parts and accessories into it. I’m fairly new to bicycle maintenance so this has been my first real “project”. Last weekend I reaped the rewards of my hard work when I rode it 60 miles up the California coast from Pacific Beach to San Clemente.

Future plans are to get a brooks saddle and maybe some different handlebars because as you might imagine the ones on there start to hurt about about 25 miles or so.

If anybody knows what year this bike is from and the original price, I’d be very interested to know. Thanks!
